The Athletics Society commenced activities in 1982. It won the Circuit Championships consecutively in 1984, 1985 and 1986 and recorded significant achievements at the Circuit, Zonal and Regional levels.

The teacher in-charge of Athletics is Mrs. Gayathri Wickramapathirana and the team is lead by Priyan Perera
