The activities of the Gymnastics Society commenced in 1990. It recorded significant achievements in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 and in 1995 it won at the All-Island level. It also recorded victories in the Sri Lanka Junior Gymnastics Championships and the Sri Lanka Schools Gymnastics Championships. The team has also won Sri Lanka Colors.
